Data we process

If you create an account for promotions or voting, we collect your username, email address and password hash. Free server submissions do not require an account. We store server IP addresses/hostnames, user-submitted descriptions, publicly queryable status, player counts, map names, uptime measurements and votes. The website may log IP addresses for security and anti-abuse purposes.

Purpose and legal basis

Account and listing data are processed to provide the service. Security logs are handled for legitimate security interests. Public server statistics come from protocols exposed by operators and are displayed to assist discovery.

Retention

Server listings remain in the directory until removed or suspended for abuse or a valid legal request. Hourly monitoring aggregates may be kept up to 30 days; the ranking uses the latest 7 days. Account data remain until deletion is requested, subject to legal obligations. Security rate-limit records expire and are periodically removed.

Third-party links

Game servers and external websites are operated by independent third parties; we are not responsible for their data collection. Paid promotions use Stripe Checkout; we do not receive card details. Advertising integrations are disabled until configured, and relevant privacy notices and consent management must be implemented before activation. We do not sell account data.

Contact and requests

For account deletion, correction, or other privacy requests, email support@gameranklist.com. The operator should complete its legal identification and jurisdiction-specific privacy disclosures before launch.
